HAVEN IN SOUTH JORDAN

From South Jordan GM, Gail Thompson: “Yesterday afternoon at around 4pm, Haven and I were on the line and started smelling a very strong smell of gas. We both reacted and discovered that my grill had a gas leak coming from the gas connection pipe, going into the grill. Neither of us had ever had to change the pipe before, but with a little bit of advice we figured we could do it. We had the grill off, pulled out and Haven was behind it trying to unscrew the pipe. While we were struggling a Father and son came in to grab dinner, they happened to own a plumbing and gas company. Without a second thought, they offered to help us get it working again as both of us were struggling. They were able to get the grill connected a lot faster than we would have been able to. Without the help from these kind men, my store would not have been able to operate as quickly as it did on a Friday night.”

From Tami Mack, Director of Culture: “I love hearing stories of aloha given to our customers, but this was a special story about aloha coming from customers to our team. Mahalo to the gentlemen who helped Haven and Gail! That’s the thing about aloha – it flows from one person to the other and always comes back to you. When you have a choice, choose aloha!”
