MADE US FEEL AT HOME

Submitted by St. George Bluff guest John Bridgewater:  “I was born and raised in Hawaii until I moved to the mainland when I was 16. Growing up in Hawaii is unique and food plays a big role in memories and what it means to live there. I miss it a lot.  My family was staying in St. George on our way to go to Zion National Park and looked up restaurants nearby. I couldn’t believe we were four minutes from this restaurant. We dropped everything and went.  I’ve tried other “Hawaiian restaurants” before and have always left sad and homesick. It’s always close, but not the same. Eating at Mo’ Bettahs was different, and I really appreciated it.  The white rice was spot on. This is a must and is the first thing I go for. Everything was perfect! The Kalua Pork and Chicken Katsu was excellent too – took me back!  Everything was beyond what I could have expected in terms of authenticity and overall experience. Well done and thank you.  I also want to mention the store manager, Mark. He really made us feel at home and were very thankful to talk with someone that had actually lived on Oahu. The food and shared memories made this a major highlight on our trip.”
