“We organized a service opportunity called “2nd Life Flowers”. We take fresh flowers that would otherwise be discarded and make arrangements for local Senior Centers and Senior Care facilities. We operate on a “zero” budget and rely on donated flowers, vases and especially the donated time of our volunteers.
Every Monday the local Albertson’s store shares their ALOHA by giving us the flowers that didn’t sell the week before and we make about 60 arrangements for the dining facilities and individual patients. We are always in need of more volunteers to help make and deliver arrangements.”
